How a Waypoint journey works
One Vicuna flight
The transatlantic leg runs between New York and Brussels aboard our Gulfstream GV, with your pet in the cabin beside you rather than in cargo.
Onward travel included
Everything beyond Brussels – high-speed rail, the overnight ferry, private cars to and from the airport – is arranged by us and included in your ticket price.
Nights in pet-friendly hotels
We organise all the overnight stops in comfortable hotels chosen because they welcome pets, not merely tolerate them.
Unhurried, with proper breaks
The schedule is built around your pet, with planned stops for walks and rest rather than the tightest possible connection.
Oslo
Three days each way between New York and Oslo, with the Atlantic crossing by air and the rest of the journey overland.
New York to Oslo
Express Route
- Day 1: Depart New York for your Vicuna flight, travelling to Brussels with your pet by your side.
- Day 2: Take the train to Hamburg, followed by the overnight train to Copenhagen.
- Day 3: Arrive in Copenhagen in the morning and travel north through Scandinavia, stopping in Gothenburg for a proper break before continuing to Oslo and arriving that evening.
Oslo to New York
Express Route
- Day 1: Leave Oslo in the morning and travel by train to Malmö, followed by the overnight train to Hamburg.
- Day 2: Arrive in Hamburg in the morning before continuing by train to Brussels, where you’ll spend the night in a comfortable pet-friendly hotel.
- Day 3: Take a private car to the airport to meet your Vicuna flight to New York, arriving that evening.
Stockholm
Three days each way between New York and Stockholm, with the Atlantic crossing by air and the rest of the journey overland.
New York to Stockholm
Express Route
- Day 1: Depart New York in the evening aboard your Vicuna flight, settling in for a comfortable overnight journey across the Atlantic with your pet by your side.
- Day 2: Arrive in Brussels the following morning, then continue by train through Cologne and Hamburg to Flensburg, where you will spend the night in a comfortable pet-friendly hotel.
- Day 3: Travel north by rail through Copenhagen before continuing on to Stockholm, arriving that evening.
Stockholm to New York
Express Route
- Day 1: Leave Stockholm in the morning and travel by train to Flensburg, via Copenhagen. Settle into a comfortable pet-friendly hotel for the night.
- Day 2: Continue south by train to Hamburg, with time for a proper walk and break for your pet before travelling on through Germany to Brussels. Arrive that evening and stay overnight in the city.
- Day 3: After a relaxed morning, a private car takes you and your pet to the airport to meet your Vicuna flight to New York.
